One photographer for everything a property needs photographed.
Novo Real Estate Media covers listings, apartment communities, storefronts and buildings under construction across Chicagoland — with every price published before you book.
One photographer, not a marketplace.
Most listing media in Chicagoland is sold by companies that dispatch whoever is free. You book a brand and find out on the day who turns up, and the gallery you get depends on which contractor took the job.
Novo works the other way round. The same photographer shoots, edits and delivers every job, on one standard, which is the only way a hundred listings look like they came from the same person. It also means the person who answers the phone is the person who will be standing in your kitchen.
The range is deliberately wide, because property media is not only listings: apartment communities, retail and office space, construction programs on a draw schedule, measured 3D scans and architectural work all run through the same person and the same calendar.
What that rules out
- No dispatch roulette. You are not assigned a stranger the night before.
- No quote, then a phone call. Every published service prices itself on screen.
- No second appointment. Photos, drone, floor plan, twilight, video and tour come off one visit.
- No surprise invoice. Prices are verified before the shoot, and corrected in either direction if the details were off.
Newer, and it works in your favour.
This started in 2022 as Real Estate Photos Chicago — a name that said exactly what it did and nothing else — shooting listings quietly alongside other work. It became Novo Real Estate Media when the work went full-time, because by then it had stopped being something done on the side and become the whole job. That is a deliberately short history and there is no reason to dress it up: what it buys you is somebody who is not running nine jobs a day and has no reason to treat yours like the ninth.
Being newer is the argument here, not the apology. Every price on this site is on screen because there is no fifteen-year-old rate sheet to defend and no habit of quoting by phone to protect — the businesses that have always done it the other way are the least able to change it. The same applies to the work: every shoot still changes something about the next one, whether that is how a room gets lit, which frame leads the gallery, or the order of the walk-through so nothing gets missed. Somebody who has shot ten thousand houses has stopped asking those questions. I have not.
It also means your listing is not one of nine that day. There is no reputation here to coast on yet, which is the most reliable reason to expect the work to be good. The intention is to grow — not into a dispatch board with a logo on it, but into something that can take more work without the galleries starting to look like different people shot them, which is the thing that usually breaks first.
The unglamorous facts
- Editing stays here. Nothing is sent overseas overnight, which is why the colour is consistent from one job to the next.
- FAA Part 107 certified. The drone work is flown legally, not by someone hoping nobody asks.
- Insured, certificate on request. Named to your entity, sent before the visit.
- Own equipment throughout. Same bodies, same lights, same look — no rental kit deciding how your listing turns out.
Four steps, none of them a phone call.
Price it yourself
Put the list price and floor area in, or the building count for commercial. The exact figure appears — not a range, not a starting-at.
Pick the date
A live calendar, booked in about a minute. A card holds the slot; the balance is due when the work is delivered.
One visit on site
Forty-five minutes to a couple of hours for a house. Everything on the order is captured in the same appointment.
Live the next morning
Photos by 11:30am the next morning on anything shot before 2pm. Video and 3D tours follow in 48–72 hours.

I shoot every job, edit every file and answer the phone. When you book Novo you are booking one person’s time and one person’s standard — not a name that assigns whoever is free that morning.
Chicago and the suburbs around it.
