Commercial Real Estate Photography in Chicago.
The same photographer who shoots residential listings handles commercial work across the Chicago area — storefronts and offices, apartment communities, construction programs and standalone 3D tours. Most of it is priced on screen, and the rest gets a proposal in one business day.
Buildings, sites and the work in progress.

Commercial work, without the agency markup.
Scoped like a real project
A proposal around the property and the timeline — not a slider.
Architecture-grade frames
Buildings shot as buildings — for firms, builders and brands.
One studio, both sides
The photographer your agents already use, on your commercial work.
What agents tell Google.
“The photos turned out flawless and truly captured the cozy essence of my home.”
“I really owe Justin 10 stars for this incredible job! Booked him last minute the day before.”
“Very happy with the way the photos turned out. So glad to have worked with Novo.”
The part most photographers make you chase.
Commercial jobs stall on access, not on photography. These are answered before you book, not after.
Insured, and provable
A certificate of insurance naming your entity, sent ahead of the visit. Property managers and GCs need it on file before anyone reaches the door — ask when you book and it goes out the same day.
Badging and escorts
Site inductions, sign-in, PPE and an escort where the building requires one. On an active jobsite the schedule is built around your safety requirements rather than negotiated at the gate.
Shot around the tenants
Retail gets photographed around trading hours, offices around the working day, and occupied units by appointment. Nothing here needs the building emptied to get a clean frame.
Licensed for real use
Full commercial usage for your own marketing — leasing flyers, the offering memorandum, brokerage decks, the website and social. Extended licensing for a third party is the one thing quoted separately.
Find the job, see the price.
Four shapes of commercial work, each with its own calculator. Pick the one that matches and the number is on screen before anyone picks up a phone.
Architectural photography, scan-to-CAD and floor-plan-only work stay quoted — usage and scope move those numbers more than the shooting does.
Asked before every commercial booking.
How much does commercial photography cost in Chicago?
Most commercial work is priced on screen. A space up to 2,000 sq ft is $475 for photography, $575 with an aerial pass and $850 for full media — above that the price follows the floor area and how many separate rooms there are to shoot. Apartment communities price from the buildings, interiors and amenities — a single building with four unit interiors, amenities, exteriors and aerials is $785. Construction documentation starts at about $295 a visit. Architecture, scan-to-CAD and floor-plan-only work are quoted.
Why do you publish commercial prices when most photographers don't?
Because the work is repeatable enough to price honestly, and hiding a number wastes everyone's afternoon. Where a job genuinely is not repeatable — architecture, usage negotiation, multi-day programs — we say so and quote it instead of pretending.
Is the calculator price final?
Yes, for the property you described. Details are verified before the shoot, and if something differs the price is corrected in either direction and agreed with you before any work or charge.
Do I get commercial usage rights for the photos?
Yes — use for your own marketing is included on every commercial booking: leasing material, offering memorandums, brokerage decks, your website and social. Licensing images to a third party, such as a manufacturer or a publication, is agreed separately.
Can you handle badging, escorts and certificates of insurance?
Yes. Those requirements are asked in the booking form, along with access and tenant hours, so the visit starts on time rather than at the security desk.
How fast is commercial work delivered?
Photos are back by 11:30am the next morning on a shoot booked before 2pm. Video, 360 tours and LiDAR models follow in 48–72 hours.
